How You Can Become Your Own Muse

I’ll be honest…I started using the term Self-Mastery after diving into the world of Dan Koe who shares about one-person business models, spirituality, philosophy, and ways to explore our own curiosities to create a niche.

But for me, it was just a name change. I’ve been consciously delving into what I’ve called self-discovery and self-exploration since 2016.

It was during the last year of my ‘corporate trauma’ days - the days when stress, overwhelm, and feeling undervalued seemed endless. It was to the point that my discontentment with my life started to manifest in physical ways.

  • Full body hives only healed with steroid shots

  • Chronic fatigue + body pain

  • Doctor + Acupuncturist finding nothing physically wrong - only mental stress

This led me on a journey of being curious about myself, the root cause of my unhappiness, and what I was going to do to change it.

I wouldn’t call myself an expert in self-mastery, but I’ve learned a lot over the past 8 years in studying the Self and using that knowledge to change my own life for the better.

I believe we all have the capability to become the MUSE of our own lives in order to create the life experience we want + deserve.

A Muse is a person who serves as an artist's inspiration. I believe your LIFE is a work of art and YOU are the Muse. Self-mastery is a key component.

By focusing on self-mastery, you’ll get clear on who you are and how you operate, what gifts you’re here to share, and show up as the highest expression of your authentic self.

It took me years of failing to figure it out and I find self-exploration to be a lifelong journey, but I know prioritizing self-mastery is the key to living a life filled with purpose + meaning.

What moment was the “final straw” pushing you to self-discovery?
