Prioritizing Self-Mastery
Self-mastery is a term that has reeled me in because it encompasses most of the topics I find myself being pulled to explore. It’s about developing a deep understanding of yourself, identifying your strengths + challenges, and then taking intentional + inspired action to be the best version of yourself.
Here are 3 topics, in particular, I’m excited to dive deeper into:
Topic #1: Human Design (and other self awareness tools)
I’ve been talking a lot about Human Design over the past 3 years. It’s an awareness tool that has many layers, but I’ve been especially intrigued by how it can be used to improve well-being and our connections with others lately.
Topic #2: Emotional Intelligence
In learning about Human design, I learned about Emotional Authority or how I’m designed to make decisions. Growing up as a sensitive child, being encouraged to toughen up, I didn’t see the power in my emotions as a form of data. I’ve been reading more about tending to (not managing) my emotions and how I can use them to support me.
Topic #3: Well-Being
Well-being covers many subtopics, but in general, prioritizing your well-being impacts EVERY other aspect of your life. Take care of your body + mind and they’ll take care of you. Learning more about health, herbalism, mindfulness, and self care is high on the list.
